Ford Mustang Mach-E Orders Re-Open

2023 Mustang Mach E

Are you a fan of the iconic Mustang but also want to go green? Well, you’re in luck because Ford is reopening its order banks for the all-electric Mustang Mach-E, and it’s better than ever. With completed plant upgrades, production ramp-up in the second half of 2023, and feature improvements, this Mustang is something you won’t want to miss.

One of the most significant improvements is the increased range for standard range battery models, with a targeted EPA-estimated range of 250 miles for RWD and 226 miles for eAWD. This is possible thanks to the use of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, which also increases the eAWD configuration’s horsepower by an additional 45.

If you’re worried about charging, Ford has got you covered. Standard range models can now charge to 100% more frequently via AC home charging, and DC fast charging to 80 percent battery capacity from 10 percent now takes just 33 minutes, a 5-minute reduction when compared to previous standard range models.

One of the most exciting features of the Mustang Mach-E is BlueCruise, which enables hands-free driving on highways. Now, all Mustang Mach-E SUVs will be built with the necessary hardware for the capability, and customers can experience the technology with a complimentary 90-day trial. Plus, the new BlueCruise 1.2 includes hands-free lane changes and In-Lane Repositioning ability, making driving even more effortless and natural.

And let’s not forget about the tax credits! The Mustang Mach-E qualifies for potential Inflation Reduction Act federal tax credits in 2023 of $3,750, making it even more affordable for customers.

Finally, new available offerings for the Mustang Mach-E include the optional Comfort Package Lite on Select, featuring heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and memory driver seat and sideview power folding mirrors. Premium models with standard range battery receive new 19-inch Shadow-Silver painted aluminum wheels with high gloss black-painted aero covers. The GT Performance Edition is also available with optional all-season tires.

The Mustang Mach-E is capable of over-the-air software updates, and the latest update includes the availability of news and video apps as standard across all Mustang Mach-E vehicles. These apps can be accessed using the SYNC screen while the vehicle is parked.

Overall, the Mustang Mach-E is a game-changer, and Ford’s commitment to scaling electric vehicles and making them more accessible and affordable for customers is commendable. So, why not head over to the Hodges Ford dealership in Darien, GA and see for yourself what the Mustang Mach-E can do?
